About Us

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.  I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” Psalm 91:1-2

Sheltered – To protect or shield from something harmful; to defend, guard and preserve
In – To surround, inclusion in a space
Grace – The favor of God

‘Sheltered in Grace”… a gathering of thoughts to encourage, lift up and spur one another on as we journey on towards our heavenly goal.

Lee Ann Kemp

Blessed beyond measure and living life “Sheltered in Grace” in Texas. Married to my best friend Kelly for 37 years. Mom to Jared, Kellen, + Elvis, our bonus son and Nunu to seven.  Whether the audience is young or old,  I love sharing and teaching the simplicity of God’s word. It truly is a gift for all, Acts 10:34.  Watching God’s sunrises, sunsets and cows are the best part of country living.  A simple life…

I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Therefore choose life, that you and your offspring may live, loving the Lord your God, obeying his voice and holding fast to him.
– Deuteronomy 30:19b-20a

Jayme Stokes

I have been married to my college sweetheart, Bobby for 37 years. We have four children and nine Grands. I am a high school Principal at Ouachita Christian School in Monroe, LA, teach college courses for ULM and love to garden and read. I have spent the past seven years studying the prophets. I consider myself an Elijah. I have seen great spiritual victories in my life and I have been known to scamper back to my broom tree. My Jesus holds me safe in both places. It is really all about HIM.

Thus says the Lord:
“Stand by the roads, and look,
and ask for the ancient paths,
where the good way is; and walk in it,
and find rest for your souls.
But they said, ‘We will not walk in it.’
– Jeremiah 6:16

Leigh Ann Nichols

I am a child of God, wife to Jody, and mother to Jackson, Mason, and Karis.  Her roots began in Texas but for the past twelve years has called Tennessee home where she works as a teacher and coach at Middle Tennessee Christian School.  In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, watching her kids compete on the baseball field or basketball court, and taking care of her miniature donkeys and chickens.

Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong. Do everything in love.
– 1 Corinthians 16:13-14

Lauralee Simmons

I am a junior in high school and fill my plate with musical instruments and FFA.  I enjoy Tuesday night bible studies with my youth group, leading devotional thoughts, singing, and just hanging out with like-minded youth.  In my spare time I meditate on God’s word through bible journaling and my blog, Lauralee’s Raes.

The LORD is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation; He is my God, and I will praise Him; My father’s God, and I will exalt Him.
– Exodus 15:2
